Has owned and operated Yuille Auto Works in Dartmouth since September of 1981. First opening at 109 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth under the name Bob Yuille's Shop then moving to 311 Prince Albert Road Dartmouth in 1986 under the name Yuille's Shell and Service Station. In 1991 Bob expanded Yuille's Shell from a two bay service station to a six bay service station and renamed it Yuille Auto Works. The honesty and integrity with which Bob himself instills into Yuille Auto Works to this day is in large part why Yuille Auto Works is one of the few long time independent Automotive Repair Facilities still remaining. Bob has been a long time supporter of the local community, frequently supporting local fund raising events and donating annually to numerous non profit charities. Bob is originally from Cape Breton. As Bob's father, Robert was in the military, the earlier years of Bob's life were spent in various locations in Nova Scotia and Ontario finally settling in the Dartmouth area at the age of 15. Bob is just as well known for his racing career as he is for Yuille Auto Works. Staring at the age of 15 with Dirt Stock Car Racing, then onto Street Stock, Sportman Cars and Modifieds. In 1981 Bob toured through New England, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Quebec and Ontario while racing on the MASCAR Tour. In 1995 Bob took a hiatus from racing to focus on the daily operations of Yuille Auto Works. In 2007 Bob decided to get back into the racing scene, he currently runs in the Targa New Foundland annually and some some Stock Car Racing. When not in a race car or at Yuille Auto Works you can find Bob working on one of his many Land Development/Real estate projects.
